No, really-  My best advice is simple: bring a friend.

 

When there is good music and good friends it just loosens you up.

There’s other things too, obviously, but there’s a tangible dynamic when shooting a pair of friends.  It’s like being part of a secret or inside joke and translating it onto film.

Or digital, whatevs.

You will not believe some of the things I have heard from behind the camera.

 

 

Take a tip from celebrity BFFs and snap pics in pairs.  Insta-interesting.
