Had the enormous pleasure of photographing Miss Allyson Poole and let’s talk about a few things while we show off her sexiness. The three rules for seriously sexy photos, if you will.

#1 There is a right and a wroooong way to do boudoir.  You ladies know what I mean. Just because she’s wearing some lingerie and  she’s on pinterest does not mean you want to see all that… you know? Too much of a good thing can be oh so wrong.

We like to keep sexy classy up in here.  Accomplish this with a peek of skin. A glance. A gesture.

Here’s an example of sexy done right–

It’s subtle. There’s no tricks or weird lighting. Natural, beautiful. It’s a little tease. A hint of more to come.

#2 If you have a sense of humor, don’t hide it. Cliche, but photos are sexier when you show off some real personality in there.  Somewhere behind the mascara and the lacy bra is a smart, funny, caring girl.  There’s no need for tacky props — feather boas and that kind of thing is def not allowed in our photography studio — but if you’re a jeans and tshirt kind of girl, that’s what you need to be throwing on (or taking off) during your boudoir photoshoot

#3 No duck faces, no winks, no wide open mouths. Please. It does not look good. Downtown Dallas and Downtown Plano girls know that less is more when it comes to sexy boudoir photos– keep it high-end. Keep it luxe. Keep them wanting more

All of these were shot in our downtown plano studio off of 14th Street and J. Natural Light, One Reflector, and always with a hair and makeup professional on site. Because the ultimate luxury is waking up to premium coffees and mimosas and not having to worry about doing your hair and makeup on photo shoot day. Come on. You know Heidi Klum doesn’t do it? Why should you? This is Dallas after all.
