Powerful, kind, beautiful women come to us from all over the country. Sometimes they want an intimate portrait of themselves and their lover. Sometimes a huge painting that captures their beauty and style (this year).  Or they just want to spend the day with their best friend and take home a bunch of photos. But sometimes we get lucky and get something really unique…

This year for Mother’s Day, we had the absolute honor of fulfilling a very special Mother/Daughter photoshoot request. Her mom, who passed away recently, was the inspiration for the entire shoot. Bridgette wanted to remember her mom, live in her footsteps, and celebrate her elegance.  We worked with Bridgette to create looks that complimented a treasured photograph of her mom at her age.

She brought this amazing Badgley Mischka dress that captured the energy and youth of Bridgette while keeping true to mom’s floor-length, formal style. We kept the mood light by bringing in bright modern pieces and timeless vintage accents.

Bridgette’s photos were so sweet and beautiful that we literally texted her begging to keep them in the studio a little longer.
