September:  One month before Halloween, which is one month before Thanksgiving, one month before Christmas, one week before New Years, one month before Valentine’s Day. Yes! September is the official announcement that the Holiday Season is here!

And you know what September brought us? Pumpkin Spice Lattes (and Peppermint Mochas), chunky knit sweaters, dark brown nail polish…

But best of all: September brought us Courtney!

Courtney needed some better-than-average maternity photos (she’s not know for her inexpensive taste!) and we were happy to oblige.  She has an AMAZING closet (which we raided for this stunning yellow Trina Turk dress, hat, and white gold ring):

We had 5 outfit changes, and together with our amazing hair & makeup artist, we were able to give momma and baby an awesome collection of heartfelt photos.

Tip for moms-to-be: Courtney wrote baby Ryder a beautiful letter about their journey together (so far).  A selection from it was featured as the background for her photo (below).  How cool is it that he’ll have the letter and photos to bring to show-and-tell with him?  How awesome is it that mom is already planning little special ways for baby to feel her love?

Love, love, blah blah blah… you’ll notice she’s still wearing Chanel. It’s not all about the baby just quite yet!  Mamma’s still gotta look fabulous.

Layered Bake Shop in McKinney, Texas provided catering for this 3hour shoot.  And Starbucks, as usual, provided our crew with fall-flavored coffees.
